After several successful informal years as The Brisbane River Bream and Snapper classic and then an official Brisbane River/Moreton Bay Bream and Snapper Classic the competition has developed and grown and as a result we are proposing a change of venue to either Manly, Wellington Point or Cleveland Point for the Event HQ so it is more accessible to Moreton Bay and the River Mouth. That way there will be better opportunities to catch the desired species that are in the Bay. Along with the planned Event HQ move, we are also proposing adding more species categories to next year's fishing Classic. As a result of the wider species and the change in location the competition has also been renamed the Moreton Bay Classic for next years 2009 event. We have done up a new logo for this competition which brands this similar to our other competitions the Brisbane River Classic and will be available soon. Stay tuned for more details in a few months.
